He urged members to treat the constitution review as the foundation for future decisions, noting that a strong framework guarantees stability and direction of the association.

“The school that shaped us cannot remain at the mercy of chance when we have the education, networks and ability to influence better outcomes.” He stated
He urged the association to prioritise projects that address real needs, particularly in education, infrastructure, and student support, adding that public attention should never overshadow results.
“An impact that speaks quietly lasts longer than plans announced loudly.” He stressed
Member welfare dominated discussions as Mrs. Joy Benjamin (Nee Daniel) addressed the house on the importance of openness during personal challenges. She stressed that silence often worsens problems that could have been resolved with early support.
Every member must feel safe to speak up when faced with difficulty, because hardship shared early becomes lighter and easier to manage,” she maintained.

She reinforced the idea that community cannot function where struggles are hidden.
On the subject of shared responsibility, Mr. Aminu Etila ,presently serving as acting Secretary General, encouraged members to rebuild familiar bonds and uphold communal compassion.
“ No member should endure suffering privately when help exists within reach, and no voice should disappear in hardship when the association was formed to stand as one.” He said

Addressing participation beyond geographical proximity, Ms. Grace Attah, who travelled from Lokoja to attend the meeting, encouraged members outside Abuja to show stronger presence at future engagements.
“Distance loses its meaning when purpose is important, and commitment is proven not by intention, but by physical presence when it counts. Her contribution drew strong approval from attendees.”
The meeting ended with a unanimous resolution to tackle the ongoing security challenges within the Abocho community, calling on local government officials to take decisive action and nip the menace in the bud.
